Support and Repair
 

All SmarTerminal units are fully tested before being shipped. We can offer a configuration service to burn-in or configure applications.
The units are supplied with a full first 12-months warranty and are swapped out within 24 hours.

For repairs & support, we have a local service partner who currently process in excess of 250,000 repairs per annum, the vast majority down to component level, utilising a wealth of knowledge from over 120 fully qualified technicians and the latest test and diagnostic systems.

We provide padded return-envelopes for customers to mail back returned units. Faulty equipment is logged onto our web-enabled custom repair management system and allocated a unique bar-coded id no. which is used to track the product through the repair cycle. In addition, this ensures effective and efficient work scheduling and traceability, enabling to log-on and view the current up-to-date status of a repair at any time.

The majority of spare parts used are carried in-stock and we have an SLA with our partner that allow the majority of repairs to be completed within 3-5 working days.

Repaired units, prior to the return to the customer, are subjected to stringent and comprehensive hardware/software functional testing and carry a comprehensive 6 month warranty.

End-of-life units can be recovered and recycled or disposed of in accordance with the WEEE directive.
